You should see a visible difference straight away however depending on the condition being one to three treatments. If you are receiving electrolysis to remove skin tags or milia, this should take 1 treatment. It does vary from person to person depending on the size of the area, so we will talk to you in depth about this during your consultation.
Electrolysis clients generally describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable, with a warm stinging sensation which they find to be easily tolerable.
You may see some redness and slight swelling for the first 24 hours after treatment. You may also see some crusting and scabbing while the skin heals itself. This usually lasts between 5 and 14 days.
After your treatment it’s important to take care of your skin and not pick at any scabs or crusts. You should wear SPF and keep your skin well moisturised. You will be given full aftercare advice at your treatment.
